“Animals possess a soul and men must love and feel solidarity with our smaller brethren…the fruit of the creative action of the Holy Spirit and merit respect…as near to God as men are.” He reminded people that all living beings came into being because of the “breath” of God. He spoke of St. Francis’s love for animals declaring, “We, too, are called to a similar attitude.”

Night On The Town
Taking a day off as I get ready to attend the annual charity ball this evening. That's right, "The Tank" gives of his time to some worthy candidates. Gotta' grab a quick bath, then swing by, and pick up Miss Gracie. I'm sure we will have some good pictures.

A Man Called Barnes
There is a man they call Barnes, a man that avoids my presence. I can only ponder why this man dislikes me. I have only charged him twice, and have only attempted to bite him once. You must remember, my job brings much stress, and yes, sometimes I may appear ill tempered to some, but I am truly a gentle, misinterpreted Shih-Tzu. So, I'd like to offer a sit down, a time in which I offer peace to a man they call Barnes. However, whatever you do, never try to take my bone...Mr. Barnes.

Quote Of The Day 8/17/09
"One must not think that a person who is suffering is not praying. He is offering up his sufferings to God, and many a time he is praying much
more truly than one who goes away by himself and meditates his head off, and, if he has squeezed out a few tears, thinks that is prayer."
-St. Teresa of Avila

Watching You
While waiting for some clients to arrive at the park, I partook in some relaxing squirrel watching, while Mandy watched me. It appears she is quite smitten with my perfect, chiseled, face.

Different View
Nothing like a Sunday morning. After a busy week of daunting tasks such as, avoiding the insurance companies, ignoring the doorbell, scanning calls, digging holes, it sure feels good to look at the world from upside down.
