A Shadow Departs

With Mandy’s blessing, Mr. Shadowcaster takes Mandy's shadow with him to keep him company on his long journey home.

"I am soon to depart for my home planet. I leave all responsibility in the paws of "Grandma Mo", or "Big M" as some prefer to call her. I trust in "The Tank's" execution, I have faith in Anne's expert decision-making abilities. Mandy has done her part by lending her shadow, Miss Gracie will be expected to keep "The Tank's" temper within a reasonable degree, use your judgment wisely, keep Tina at bay, even though not one of us have ever seen her...? But most importantly, keep watch for "The Tail" an entity that I am even unaware. May my shadow always cast upon you."

Quote Of The Day 1/09/10

“The writer's greed is appalling. He wants, or seems to want, everything and practically everybody, in another sense, and at the same time, he needs no one at all.”

-James Arthur Baldwin

Tina! How do you spell Tank?

Let's see...All I need is a hacksaw, some good mittens to cover my paw prints....paw pads, and this would be the perfect day to clean out "The Tank's" trunk.

"Heaven wheels above you, displaying to you her eternal glories, and still your eyes are on the ground."

-Dante Alighieri

A Private Meeting

After passing off a few Charlee Bears to the security guards, I was granted a private meeting with Uncle Orso. Hopefully he will tell me why we unloaded a rocket.

Uncle Orso:
Tank, how good it is to see you, even if it's through barriers. You come today, you come to ask a...forget the speech, these barriers have worn me down today. Tank, the rocket, it's obivous, and I'm a little suprised you didn't figure it out. It is very important for Mr. Shadowcaster to return home for a brief stint, there's much business to be done where he is from. Don't look so frightened, it's where all shadows come from.

Quote Of The Day 1/1/10

"I offer neither pay, nor quarters, nor food; I offer only hunger, thirst, forced marches, battles and death. Let him who loves his country with his heart, and not merely with his lips, follow me."

-Giuseppe Garibaldi

In Search Of

It's a new year, and it's back to business. Mandy and Gracie patroll the grounds carefully in search of  "The Tail". Meanwhile, I'm preparing myself for another meeting with Uncle Orso, in hopes of finding out why we are housing a rocket in our backyard.
